    I would like to take my family, 2 active grandparents, myself & wife, plus by then my 3 year old and 2 year old daughters to Disney in 2013. Which would be the best resort and do any have self catering facilities? Budget about US$1,600 per week.

    Walt Disney World is the perfect vacation destination for a grandparents, mom, dad, and toddlers combination. Your family is going to come home with some marvelous memories.

    For your multi generation party consider the family suites at the new Disney's Art of Animation. These rooms have a mini kitchen with a microwave, two bathrooms, and a separate master bedroom for the grandparents. The lounge area has both a sofa and a table that transform into beds. This just opened resort is bold, colorful, well themed, and has an amazing pool. 

    Another option would be the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. These cabins have a full kitchen with a stove if you wish to cook as well as a separate bedroom. The bedroom has bunk beds and a double bed and the living area has a pull down bed. There is a small deck with a picnic table and grill. This western themed resort has endless recreation choices such as horse back riding, two dinner shows, carriage rides, and the always fun Chip 'n Dale Campfire Sing-a-Long.
