Hi Nadine! I love Memory Maker. I still look at pictures from previous Walt Disney World vacations and I absolutely adore the attraction videos from the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Since my son is so young, I love being able to show him photos and talk about all the memories we made during our Walt Disney World vacations. He also loves it because he brings the photos in to share with his classmates.
You can use Memory Maker as a large group, and actually, Memory Maker is quite a steal if you share the cost amongst your group.
Here is how it will work:
*You must link everyone with a My Disney Experience account together on your Family & Friends list. Once your group breaks up in the parks, only the people linked together and connected in your My Disney Experience account will be able to use Memory Maker- so make sure everyone is linked!
*Only one person will be the owner of the Memory Maker entitlement. This means that the person assigned as the owner will be the person with downloading privileges. All of you can use Memory Maker in the parks and add pictures to the Memory Maker account, but only the person with the downloading privileges can download all of the photos at the end of your vacation. After that person downloads the pictures, they can of course send them out to the whole family. I suggest assigning the Memory Maker entitlement to a responsible adult.
*After your group takes a photo, one of you will touch your Magic Band to the PhotoPass photographer's scanner, which will in turn send the photo to your Memory Maker account.
I also suggest you check out the
frequently asked Memory Maker questions. I hope this has been helpful, and if you need anything else, please feel free to ask.
May your vacation be full of magical memories.
