We have 3 families travelling together (booking 3 separate rooms). We would like our rooms to be neighboring or at least near each other. If we book the rooms separately, can we request that the rooms be together? Or should we book the rooms together?

    Hi, Cheryl!

How exciting to be traveling with a large group! Here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel we just LOVE to help Guests like yourself plan an extra magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Having traveled with another family on a separate reservation in the past, I would suggest that you call the Reservations line and have each other’s Confirmation Number, if possible, to request rooms that are close to one another. Although these are requests and not guarantees, I have found that these are often accommodated. Even if the rooms were booked under the same reservation, there is no guarantee that they are adjoining, so in my opinion, there is no reason to make any changes.

When you check-in to your Disney Resort hotel, I would confirm with the friendly Cast Member that you have rooms near one another. Remember to download the My Disney Experience mobile app and connect to each other via the “My Family & Friends” List in order to make Advanced Dining Reservations and FastPass+ selections for the whole gang!

    Have a magical day,
