Welcome to planDisney! I am glad that you sailed by with your planning question.
Traveling with family and friends makes vacation extra special. There are
four different stateroom categories. Concierge Suites are the most opulent of accommodations and can hold 5 to 7 Guests. Oceanview with Verandah staterooms hold 3 to 5 Guests and have a private verandah to enjoy the ocean breeze. Oceanview staterooms have a porthole to view the ocean and can hold 3 to 4 Guests. Inside staterooms also hold 3 to 4 Guests and have a magical porthole. I prefer the Oceanview with Verandah staterooms, but with younger kids, that may be of concern to you. Just know that the verandah doors have two locks, including one that is too high for younger Guests to reach, and the doors are heavy.
There are a limited number of
connecting staterooms, so if you would like that, I recommend booking as soon as possible. If you are interested in staterooms with a verandah, the partition separating the two can be opened to create a larger shared balcony.
No matter which stateroom you select, you will have lots to keep you busy while on Disney Cruise Line! There are Youth Activities spaces for children to play and be creative.
Disney's Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab are for children ages 3 to 10 years old. There will be group play, arts and crafts, and other interactive activities. The
"it's a small world" nursery! is also available for booking for children ages 6 months to 3 years at an additional cost if the adults want some time to explore the
adult-exclusive spaces. Hours of operation for these spaces will be in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you embark on your Disney Cruise Line ship of choice.
