We are 3 families of 4 traveling to Disney in July. When making dining reservations, is it more advantageous to book as a party of 12, or in 3 separate reservations, and do they charge the credit card when reserving or is it just used as a guarantee.

    Hi Shirley!

Going to Walt Disney World with a big group of friends or family is so much fun!  I recently traveled with 23 of my family members and we had a great time and made so many magical memories!

When I made our group's dining reservations, I always did it by phone with a dining specialist.  You can call 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).  I made one reservation for the entire group.  They can't always seat you together, but there is a greater chance of that if you are all in one reservation.  Your dining specialist can help you with any questions about it.

Your credit card is used as a guarantee.  They will charge a fee if you don't show up for your reservation.  Some dinner shows may charge in advance, but most reservations will not require advance payment.

I hope this helps!  Have a magical trip, and please let me know if you have any other questions.
