We are 2 families staying on a single reservation at WL. We will have 4 adults who will want to be able to use magic bands for our purchases and dining. Will we be able to link diff cc's when we check in so that each family can use their own?

    Hi Valerie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have some very good news for you. We often travel with other friends and family members when we visit Walt Disney World Resort. During a recent trip, we found out that a Guest’s MagicBand can be linked to the credit card of their choosing, even if it’s not the same credit card that is associated with their Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation or with My Disney Experience account. You shouldn’t have a problem linking each family's sets of MagicBands to a different credit card, should you/they choose to do so.

In order to ensure that the MagicBands are linked properly, please mention your request to the Cast Member when you check in to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. It’s also a good idea to request a printout of your MagicBands’ respective transactions after your first day in order to double check that the transactions are being processed correctly. We’ve never had that problem, but I’ve heard that some Guests have had that issue in the past.

Have fun planning your trip and please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
