Welcome back to planDisney, Jason!
You've asked a great question about booking
Lightning Lane passes for multiple people while visiting
Walt Disney World. Let's take a look!
First, you'll want to be sure that you are all connected in your
My Disney Experience accounts. Once you've done that, any adult in your group can make plans for both families. I'm the planner, so when we travel with more than one party in a group, I'll confirm everyone's picks for the most magical dining reservations, Lightning Lane passes,
Enchanting Extras experiences, and more, then secure all of that for the entire group. It's really so easy!
Jason, once you are all connected in MDE, you'll be able to add anyone in your group when it's time to make your Lighting Lane plans. You'll use your
My Disney Experience app for these, and it's best to be sure everyone's connected as soon as you can. When that window opens, you'll be prompted to select which type of LL you'd like, for which park, for which folks in your Family & Friends list, then the specific rides and shows themselves. You'll have one charge for this purchase, so I often take a screenshot of that total or forward the confirmation email I receive to the other family.
When traveling together, this is the perfect way to ensure that everyone's plans are coordinated for the exact same timeframe as each other. You'll love it!
Regarding your stay at
Disney's Old Key West Resort--that's one of my family's first favorites! You'll love the space your families get to enjoy in these larger villas, plus the full kitchen and in-room laundry make each stay absolutely outstanding! Be sure to head down that 125 foot slide at
Sandcastle Pool, too. So much fun!
Jason, as you put together all the pixie dust on your travel plans, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
