We have 3 families of 3 people coming to Disney World together. Each family has a room, all at Pop Century. I have been designated to plan for all 3 groups. When I create my friends & family group, does each person have to have a different email?

    Hi, there!

Sandi, I am just thrilled to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. A visit with a big group is sure to be BIG fun!

I was in charge of planning a Disney vacation for my extended family of 14 a few years ago. We had four separate rooms which was super great because it allowed each smaller family some personal space. Getting everyone linked together on my Family & Friends list through My Disney Experience was certainly a bit of a chore, though! Every adult you invite to your Family & Friends list will be sent an email notification. Once they receive the notification, they can either accept or decline your invitation. So to answer your question, yes, every adult will need to have a different email address listed so that each Guest can accept your Family & Friends invitation. I experienced quite a bit of difficulty getting everyone in my travel party linked together. I actually threw in the towel and called the My Disney Experience line for assistance. A friendly Cast Member quickly and easily got everyone manually linked for me! It was such a relief. Once everyone was linked, I was easily able to make our plans and reservations. If you experience any difficulty getting your group linked together, I very much encourage you to call (407) 939-4357. Just be sure to have the reservation information for each separate room on hand when you call.

As soon as you have everyone in your party linked on Family & Friends, go ahead and book your Theme Park Reservations. Guests need valid admission in addition to Theme Park Reservations, and the sooner you book yours, the better availability you'll find!

My best tip for large groups is to purchase Memory Maker. With Memory Maker, everyone can get in on the shot! Even if you separate as smaller families throughout the day like my extended family did, each smaller party can still take advantage of Memory Maker. With everyone linked on My Disney Experience, everyone will be able to view and download your priceless memories!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Sandi. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Disney vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
