2 families of 3 each. If we take my nephew for dinner one night while his parents eat at a different restaurant, can we use our card for a table service and my nephews for his meal, while his parents use their card for their meal at a different restaurant

    Hi Heather,

How very nice of you to give the parents the night off! You shouldn't have a problem using your dining plan for your family and your nephew's dining plan for him.  While I haven't done that option, specifically, I have dined with people on different dining plans.  I've also had my party split up and eat at different locations while on the dining plan.  Neither of these have caused me any trouble.  Just be sure your nephew has his room key with him (I'm assuming he will, since it will probably double as his park pass).  You'll want to inform your server that you are on two separate dining plans when you are seated.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
