2 families are military and both bought promo tickets. 6 each the limit. Now 1 family cannot go. Question is can my family buy his tickets and ask other family to come? Can 1 military come with 9 tickets(all were military bought and used by mil.). Thanks

    Hey Joan!

I'm so glad you stopped by to see us today!  My family has used the Armed Forces Salute tickets several times.  I love how Walt Disney World supports military members and our families.

Your ticket situation will all depend on how the tickets were purchased.  If they were purchased at a Walt Disney World ticketing or Guest Relations office, they are activated and ready to be used at the turnstiles.  The military member (or spouse) does not need to be present in order to use the activated tickets.

If they were purchased at a MWR/ITT (base ticketing office), the tickets will need to be activated before use.  A military member can only purchase and/or activate six tickets during the promotional period.  This means the military member (or spouse) would not be able to activate all nine tickets.  Additionally, the military member (or spouse) "sponsoring" those additional tickets would need to be present  and show their military ID to activate those tickets.

I hope this helps, Joan!  Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions regarding the ticket situation or if there's anything else I can help you with!
