Bonjour Joanne!
Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet. I always get so excited when I see fellow Canadians in our queue, and since I grew up in Quebec, that practically makes us neighbours, right? I am also so glad you decided to use the Disney Genie+ service for your next vacation. All your wishes are sure to come true with a friend like that!
Now, let's talk about how you and the rest of your travelling party can make reservations together even if you have different
My Disney Experience accounts. All you have to do is connect with each other's
Family & Friends Lists. To do so, log into your My Disney Experience account and click on "My Family & Friends" and "Add a Guest" at the bottom of your list. Then, you can select the option "I'll enter their name and age" and enter the email address linked to their account. You must enter the email they used to create their account, as they will receive an invitation to connect with you. Once they have accepted this invitation, they will appear in your Family & Friends List, and you will be able to include them in your plans!
As for your
Disney Genie+ selections, you will be able to make selections for your whole party at the same time. However, you will have to ensure that each person in your party has valid theme park admission, including tickets and reservations and that they have purchased the Disney Genie+ service. This service is now only available for purchase on the day of your visit, so make sure that all members of your party purchase it before 7 A.M. when ride selections go live. As for dining reservations, you can book your reservations and link them to the right Guests or simply keep those Guests blank. If they are located inside the theme parks, however, make sure that everyone in your party has a theme park ticket and reservation for that park, as
dining reservations do not guarantee entrance into the park if you are park hopping. PhotoPass photos from your travelling party will be available in the My Disney Experience mobile app, where you can also keep track of each others' plans. If you would like to keep track of these itineraries on your trip, I also highly suggest downloading the
My Disney Experience mobile app, as it makes consulting each other's plans much more convenient.
I hope this was helpful, Joanne, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your magical vacation, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am always happy to help my fellow Canadians!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
