Hi, we have 4 families booked under 1 reservation, can we separate the magic bands per family/room for our Disney dining? Thanks Eleri

    Hi Eleri,

Thank you for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Is your vacation coming up soon? Mine is not until next year, and I’m already counting down every single minute!

When you travel with a large family or group of friends, you have a few different options to stay at a Disney Resort Hotel. Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort or Disney’s All-Star Music Resort can accommodate up to six adults. But some of the Deluxe Villas can help up to 12 Guests with multi-room suites.

Now, when you book more than one room, each one will result in a different reservation number with its corresponding Guests assigned, and each will have its own set of Dining Plan entitlements. And which MagicBand belongs to who? Simple. Once you link your reservation to your My Disney Experience account, you will be able to customize each Guest’s MagicBand from an assortment of colors and inscribe your name, to make it easy to identify.

One last tip: be sure to link your Family and Friends My Disney Experience accounts in order to make FastPass+ selection for everyone. These can be made up to 60 days before Check-In. Happy planning!
