Hi! My fam will be traveling to DW ,week of NY 2019. I booked the room only and then purchased the tickets (on Disney website) separately. Only received bands and no luggage tags. Last time I book room and tixs pckg and recvd bands and tags together.

    Hi Patricia,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you're planning to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth during one of the most magical seasons. I am an Annual Passholder so I frequently make Room-Only reservations for a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Luggage tags are only sent to guests who have purchased a vacation package with room, tickets, and possibly one of the Disney Dining Plans

Since you made a Room-Only reservation and purchased your theme park tickets separately, you will not qualify to receive luggage tags. Even though the luggage tags are cute, I actually prefer having a Room-Only reservation. The cancellation or change rules with a Room-Only reservation are much more flexible than the rules with a vacation package.

Patricia, thank you for visiting us with another question. I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions.
Wishing you happy planning and a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
