    Our fam of 4 stayed at POFQ our first visit to Disney and decided to repeat Nov 2013! Loved it & our room location. It wasn't a preferred room, but away from the river (boats are loud) and view of courtyard. What Bldg should I ask for for a repeat of t

    I'm so happy to hear that you're already planning a return visit to Walt Disney World!

    I absolutely know exactly what you mean and I'm happy to help you out! I truly love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. It's my hands-down-favourite of all of the Moderate Resorts. I've stayed in non-preferred rooms there as well, also having enjoyed a room facing into the courtyard and away from the noise of the Sassagoula River's boats. I do enjoy those boat journeys to Downtown Disney however those boats are a far cry from being quiet!

    My favourite location has been Building 5 facing into the courtyard. I'd recommend that you call in and have a Cast Member add a 'note' to your reservation requesting several locations that would meet your requests. Call (407) 939-7675 and have your reservation number handy at the time of your call. Building 5 is my definite favourite due to being quiet, being able to cut through easily to the pool, cut over to the pathway that goes straight to the bus stop without needing to go through the lobby and it's also quite close to the Sassagoula Floatworks Food Factory. Last time there, I enjoyed Room 5138, a Garden View Room on the ground floor facing the inner courtyard. As a back up request, another great location to mention would also be Building 2 facing into the courtyard.
