HELLO THERE, Me and my fam are planning a trip for thanksgiving week and we got the dinning plan. I need suggestions for snack credit usage, please nothing basic like popcorn or mickey bars. I need the deep fandom favorites here. Bonus points for meat

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Alex!

I am so excited that you came here to ask us this question today because I love the Disney Dining Plan and I am always looking for ways to stretch a Snack credit and try something new. Although I really do enjoy classic snacks (after all these years I still think that the flavored popcorn at Epcot is definitely worth your time), there are plenty of new and exciting menu items for you to try. Get ready to give me some of the bonus points you promised, because some of them include meat!

If you are into savory snacks then I think that Disney's Animal Kingdom is the place to go. My favorite snack at the moment is the French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese from Flame Tree Barbecue. You can also get your meat fix at Eight Spoon Café where you can choose from Baked Mac and Cheese topped with either pulled pork or shrimp with sweet chili sauce. Swing by Caravan Road when you're in Asia to see what they have on offer too! Their menu changes frequently to highlight new flavors, but I've had a Teriyaki Beef Slider here before that was delicious, as well as a really nice sweet and spicy Pork Bao.

Magic Kingdom Park is home to a lot of great twists on classic snacks, like the different varieties of stuffed pretzels that rotate in and out at The Lunching Pad. Casey's Corner also has a specialty menu that changes every month, and I always have to stop by to see what kind of loaded fries they have on offer. When I was there around Thanksgiving last year they were featuring traditional Canadian poutine!

Disney's Hollywood Studios is going to be your favorite theme park if you have a sweet tooth. There is always a fun specialty sundae at Hollywood Scoops, and my favorite of all time is the Apple Crisp à la Mode, so make sure to try that if it's available this fall. The Lunch Box Tarts from Woody's Lunch Box in Toy Story Land have become hugely popular among guests so try my favorite one, which has chocolate hazelnut filling on the inside.

Finally, I think it would be a fantastic idea to use your Snack credits to try the different offerings at the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, which opens the week of your vacation. Holiday Kitchens will pop up in World Showcase to feature holiday dishes from all around the world. The Shanghai Holiday Kitchen in the China Pavilion had my favorite dish, a Mongolian Beef Bao Bun and a Fortune Cookie, but if you're a cheese-lover you should head to Bavaria Holiday Kitchen in the Germany Pavilion which had an incredible Cheese Fondue served in a bread bowl the last time I was there.

    Happy snacking!
