Hi Gloria!
Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have a family of 7, so I understand a tight budget and finding rooms for big families at Walt Disney World Resort.
If you have 8 total, then you can fit into two rooms at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort. The renovations are similar to the ones at Disney's Pop Century Resort and are queen-sized beds. If you have 9 people total, then the least expensive option would be a Family Suite plus a standard room at Disney's All-Star Music Resort.
Your other option would be two rooms at a Disney Moderate Resort that has the option to sleep 5, like
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. They have two queen-sized beds, plus a smaller pull-down bed that's designed for children, but I have slept comfortably on it before.
You can take a look at the current
special offers for October 2018 to get an idea what possible offers may be available for next year. If you are flexible in dates, then I suggest going in September when there are usually better discounts and lower crowds. Plus, you still get to enjoy fun events like the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon. Have a magical vacation!
Tania
