Hi Shirly,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I understand the feeling of uncertainty when it comes to choosing which experiences to spend money on and which things can be skipped. My family always tries to stick to a budget on vacation and that can be tough when there are so many great options!
We have found Disney Memory Maker to be a very worthwhile investment for our family, especially when
purchased in advance at a discount. When it comes time to download your photos, you should be able to choose any drive you want on your computer, including a flash drive. You also have the option to order a photo CD (at an additional cost) if you would rather access your photos in that way.
As long as everyone in your party is linked together in your
My Disney Experience account, you can split up in the parks and still have all the photos added to Memory Maker via your MagicBands! One of my favorite things to do after a fun day is check out the photos of my husband and son on an adventure while I stayed with our younger son. Even when I am not there, I still get to enjoy it!
Finally, Memory Maker gives you all of the attraction photos and videos (where available) and of course, Character Greeting photos, which is a great deal if you ask me. They might just be our favorites!
In short, I have never regretted having Disney Memory Maker despite the cost. Photos make the best souvenirs!
Wishing you many happy memories on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Hope to see you real soon!
