My fam of 4 is going with another fam of 3. All on DP. I booked ADRs for 7 so we could all sit together. I know we'll have automatic gratuity as we're more than 6, but can we still have 2 separate "bills" so each party is respons. for own tip?

Hi, Celestina!   We just did this on a recent trip.   My parents were on one check, and my family was on another check.  We made sure to tell our server when we ordered how the check was to be divided and we gave a Key to the World card for each party.   When the checks arrived, everything was appropriately split so we could each take care of our own gratuities and any extras (appetizers, wine, etc.)

Your check will detail your 18% gratuity (since you are a party of 6 or more), charges for any extras you may have ordered during your meal, and your remaining Dining Credits.   They make it very simple!   I hope you have a great time in WDW!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
