Fam of 4 celebrating son's 3rd bday in Jan2010. The staff recommended celebrating @ Chef Mickey but the description doesn't loook so great. How is Cinderella's RT for a 4yo & 3yo bday? Would HDDR or Ohana Luau be better for them for a dinner show?

I would certainly recommend Chef Mickey for a 3 year old boy's birthday dinner.  It is a wonderful buffet and in many minds the best character dining experience Disney offers.  Most of the time the fabulous five famous characters...Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto are there to stop by each table for pictures and autographs.  Children love seeing these famous faces!  You can have a birthday cake delivered to your table by contacting the cake hotline for something extra special or just noting it on your reservation that you would like a regular birthday cake for that meal. The cake hotline is 407-827-2253.

Cinderella's Royal Table is a nice dining experience in the castle of the Magic Kingdom but it is geared to the princess crowd.  That does not mean your little guys wouldn't enjoy it but in my eyes it is more for the little princesses then princes!

The best dinner show for you to choose from  would be Mickey's Backyard Barbecue over at Fort Wilderness.  This is a great country western dance party with many of the major characters coming to dance the night away with the kids.  It is very hands on and for those that are more shy there are always a few characters set to the side for the pictures.  My second choice for the age of your children would be the Hoop De Doo Revue.  The kids won't catch all the jokes but there is enough music and loud noises to make it a fun filled evening for all ages!  Lets just say the end is a wild time with each table banging away on washboards with their spoons!
