Fam of 4, 2 boys 6 & 9. Stayed Disney 1 time - stayed at POFQ and loved it! Small, quaint, pool, peaceful. Trying to save up to go back Thanksgiving 2013. Tempted to stay at FQ again, but feel I should change it up? Any suggestion in the moderate categ

Greetings Caroline from a fellow resident of the Palmetto state!

My favorite moderate resort is also Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter. The cozy atmosphere and bright blue sea serpent water slide are hard to top. Switching things up and trying different resorts , however, allows you to experience more of the magic Walt Disney World has to offer.

Consider Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort for your next visit. Your boys would have some swashbuckling fun in this resort's Pirate Rooms. Swing on hammocks by the beach, splash in the old Spanish fort style pool, or play beach volleyball at this relaxing resort. The size of this resort is rather vast compared to POFQ but multiple bus stops help cut down on walking.

Another spot to consider is Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This shiny new value resort has bold theming, an amazing Big Blue Pool, and family suites. With a suite the grown ups can have their own bedroom while the kids sleep in the living area. A mini kitchen allows you to eat a quick breakfast or make sandwiches for an easy meal and the two bathrooms make the time spent getting out the door in the mornings a little shorter.

Enjoy choosing your resort and planning your next visit. Please contact me if you have any additional questions.
