My fam will be arriving in WDW in about 30 days. This past year has been spent going in and out of hospitals for my cancer treatment and I want to know what to do to make this trip AMAZING for my husband and 2 boys. Crazy special. They deserve it! Tips?

Carmel, I think the fact that you will all be together at Walt Disney World will be an amazing vacation as it is and I am sure your husband and boys will feel the same way. You  must be an incredible person to think about how to make them happy after going through a tough year.

You didn't mention the ages of your boys so it is hard to be exact but here are a few ideas for all ages.  I think booking a fireworks cruise would be a super special way for all of you to celebrate each other. You can do that for either the Magic Kingdom Wishes or Epcot's Illuminations. Since the timing is close just see if anything is available at this point. Add a special cake from private dining and maybe some balloons and make a nice evening out of it.

There are a ton of things to do together in the recreation category. You can all take a guided fishing excursion and even if you don't love fishing it is a fun two hour get away on the lakes. I prefer Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. You can also rent the small Sea Raycer boats and enjoy those on the same lakes.  There are a few tours available but you need to check the ages allowed. There is the Family Magic Tour for the younger ones and the Wild Africa Trek for those who are a bit older. Both are wonderful and fun and something again you can do all together.

Whatever you decide will be icing on the cake to an already fantastic trip. Enjoy each moment and remember them through pictures...in fact you might even want to get a portrait session with one of Disney's photographers since it is such a memorable time.
