This Fall will be my oldest son's last "vacation" before college. We are hopeful that "The Return to Sleepy Hollow" event returns to Ft Wilderness. This was highlight of our trips the years we attended. Will it be back in 2020?

    Hi Todd,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! With two college-aged children, I completely understand why this is an important vacation for your family. Fortunately, my kids are still happily visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth with us. Their college schedules actually allow us to travel during some slightly quieter times which is a fun change!

Some of my fellow Moms Panelists have attended the Return to Sleepy Hollow event at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and highly recommended it. The event was not held last year as they began an extensive refurbishment of the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. However, the refurbishment is supposed to be completed this spring. I made some inquiries, even reaching out to the wondrous Madame Leota, but unfortunately, there is no information yet on whether or not Return to Sleepy Hollow will be, well, returning this year.

Don't lose your head though. My best advice is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements. Previous announcements about the Return to Sleepy Hollow event were made in March so this is the perfect time to keep your eyes and ears open.

Todd, thank you again for visiting us with your question. I hope you will let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions before your visit.
Wishing you a magical and memorable vacation,
    Amy H.
