What does "Fall" mean at Disney? Interested in the new Disney Jr Dance Party for our Nov trip. And how about "Spring?" Planning an April trip and interested in the new Cars show opening "Spring 2019" Thanks!

    Hi Taylor,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. First: I really love that you are planning not one but TWO Walt Disney World vacations. You’re definitely doing it right!

As of right now, we don’t know the opening date for the new Disney Junior Dance Party, other than that it’s coming “late 2018.” My best advice is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as well as the show’s web page for updates. I’m looking forward to busting a move with those adorable characters, and I have my fingers crossed that you’ll get to do the Hot Dog Dance with Mickey on your November visit!

We’re hearing “early” 2019 for Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, though we have not yet heard of an official opening date. I know there are so many Cars fans out there waiting to “Ka-chow!” with Lightning McQueen and friends, and I hope “early” means early enough for you to enjoy the show on your April vacation. Along with the Disney Parks Blog and the show’s website, I also recommend following @DisneyParks and @WDWToday on Twitter for updates.

Enjoy both your visits to Walt Disney World, Taylor! You’re going at my two very favorite times to visit the parks, and you’ll be able to enjoy all the holiday magic during your November trip, and the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival in April. Have so much fun planning and Disney dreaming, and please come back and see us if you have any more questions!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
