September is a great time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort in my opinion. School is back in session which can mean lower crowds. Halloween decorations are up across property, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party events are well underway. It can certainly be very hot and humid, and rain is quite common, but I’ve experienced some of the lowest crowds of any of my visits in the month of September.
To answer your question, Bill, fall special offers are normally announced as the season draws nearer. Currently, we are seeing offers that stretch out to the end of summer. The release of future special offers is never guaranteed, but if fall offers are announced, it may still be a few more weeks before we see them. Unfortunately, we won’t know what dates are included in any potential upcoming special offers until they are officially announced.
All current
special offers are listed on the Walt Disney World Resort website. This page is updated constantly to reflect new offers as they are released. I highly recommend checking back periodically to see if any new offers have been added.
Disney Parks Blog will also often share articles highlighting new and upcoming offerings across property. They’re a great resource for up-to-date information. The Disney Parks social pages are also worth a follow, Bill! They are constantly sharing all kinds of fun updates from across the Disney Parks.
The
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will also be in full swing during your visit, Bill. Although dates for this year’s festival have not yet been announced, if previous years are any indication, it should begin in the last few days of August. It’s my favorite festival when it comes to the food offerings!
