    Hello Faith; welcome to the Moms panel. I just completed the Minnie Mouse 10K and loved it so much that I want to do a Disney half next year. Between the Donald half and the Princess half, which is your favorite? Which has the best weather/crowds? Thanks!

    Thank you so much for the Moms Panel welcome! I am honored to have the opportunity to be representing runDisney on this prestigious forum.

    Congratulations on your completion of the inaugural Walt Disney World® 10k! I hope you plan on running Minnie, Minnie more. I'm also very excited to hear you are interested in participating in a runDisney half marathon event. I'm sure you will not be disappointed in running 13.1 of the most magical miles on earth.

    When considering which half marathon race event to attend at the Walt Disney World® Resort, my heart will always belong to Disney's Princess Half Marathon. I truly enjoy this event designed to bring out your inner princess. Additionally, I love the camaraderie of running amongst my peers and the idea that women everywhere are empowered to feel capable of so much more than they realize.

    With regard to weather, you'll find no matter which race you chose, it can be unpredictable. I've run both races several times and the weather has ranged from chilly to all-around humid. I always pack a warm weather running outfit and then a few key pieces to layer in the event it's cold or chilly. You have to be prepared for anything. I hope this information is helpful, Kim.
