Hi Faith! What do you think are the easiest/least stressful races to run to complete the Coast to Coast Challenge? Also (alternatively), what do you think are the most FUN races to do the Coast to Coast? Thanks so much!

    Welcome, Emily!

This is a great question! Here is my coast-to-coast opinion on the least stressful and most fun runDisney events.

    Least Stressful
    • Disney Princess Half Marathon - Though this race has a large field of princess runners, there is definitely a comfort level in running with your peers. Another great advantage of this race is the fact that all Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels are considered "host hotels." So regardless of where you choose to stay on-property, event transportation to all race activities will be provided.
    • Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon - If the number of runners is a concern, this is the smallest runDisney event. However, if you need event transportation, there are only a handful of resorts for this race that are considered "hosts." Something to consider when planning.
    • You can't go wrong at ANY Disneyland® Resort runDisney event! Especially if you stay on-property. You have the ability to just walk to your corral on race morning. No need to catch a bus at 3:30am. Additionally, races held in Disneyland® are generally smaller than Walt Disney World® races, making the number of runners more manageable. My vote for least stressful races goes to any runDisney event held in Disneyland®.

    Most Fun
    • The Disney Princess Half Marathon - The chance to gather your girlfriends and run through Cinderella Castle in a tutu and tiara is priceless!
    • Star Wars Half Marathon - the costumes at this race win everything! I had a blast at this inaugural race last weekend.
    • Tinker Bell Half Marathon (your coast-to-coast medal will be pink if you run the Princess/Tinker Bell combo. That's fun!).

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions, Emily. I am here to help you run Disney, coast-to-coast!
