Hello again, Marianne!
Thank you for the follow-up question! Walt Disney World® Resort hotel accommodations are one of my favorite topics; we've had many vacations without stepping foot into a theme park, thanks to our Disney Vacation Club Membership.
I have found where we choose to stay depends greatly on the purpose of our visit. If we're not planning a lot of park time, we love the one-bedroom accommodations at Disney's Old Key West Resort. If we'll be visiting the parks for a good number of days, we opt for a Monorail or Epcot Area Resort, allowing for multiple transportation options. Overall, here are MY favorite Disney Vacation Club Resorts (each member of my family has a different opinion).
• Disney's Polynesian Villas
•
Disney's Beach Club Villas
• Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort (Lake View)
When our vacations call for the special treat of being Club-Level Guests, here is where I want to be.
• Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - I actually prefer Sugarloaf Club over Royal Palm Club - mainly because of the difference in price
• Disney's Polynesian Village - King Kamehameha
• Disney's Yacht & Beach Club - Almost tied! Both the Regatta Club and Stone Harbor Club have recently undergone renovations. However, the Yacht Club gets an extra point from me because all guests rooms offer balconies, not the case for all Beach Club rooms.
There is so much more I could write about each of these accommodations, but I'm out-of-space! Please let me know if any of these Resort hotel mentions has piqued your interest, Marianne! I'd love to continue our "conversation" and provide you with even more specific detail about any of the above Resort hotels.
Hope to hEAR from you!
