Hi, Keith!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's always great to hEAR from a fellow South Carolinian - and how about this crazy November weather for our beautiful state?!
I'm happy to hear my prior answer was helpful, thank you so much for sending me your excellent follow-up question. While the Minnie Mouse Watch Magic Slider is still compatible with MagicBand 2, it rests to the side of the band, just like with the original MagicBand. The rubber banding along the back isn't wide enough to accommodate the width of the center "puck" piece on a MagicBand 2. Additionally, the watch portion of the slider is thick and would probably interfere with the RFID chip within the puck when using the Mickey Touch Points.
Kevin, did you know the center "puck" piece of MagicBand 2 is removable? You can unscrew the puck from the MagicBand, enabling you to mix and match band colors, or to use a
MagicKeepers Carabiner - a great option if you're not a fan of wearing a MagicBand. To see all the latest in MagicBand 2 accessories, select the highlighted link! One more tip: if you decide to mix and match band colors, make sure each guest in your travel party keeps the puke piece assigned to them; you can trade band colors, but not the puck piece.
I hope this is helpful, Keith! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any additional questions you may have. I am here to help with all the Magic(Band) details.
