    Hi Faith! I am looking to run the Wine and Dine Half marathon in November and am debating whether to bring the whole family. Are you able to do the dining plan with the RunDisney rates? and are you able to extend your stay?

    I am so excited to hear you are interested in participating in the 2014 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon. This race is the perfect runners' night out and I am sure you will have a fantastic time. My favorite part of this particular race is the finish-line party. It's so much fun to celebrate your race accomplishment with a post-race toast while enjoying the culinary delights of the Epcot® International Food and Wine Festival. 

    Although runDisney has not yet released details for the 2014 event, I can tell you in the past when booking through runDisney, there has been the option to add the dining plan to your reservation, in addition to being able to extend your stay 3-4 days either before or after the listed event dates. I feel certain these options will continue this year as well. I also suggest signing up for runDisney Email Notifications. This is a free service and will keep you up to date on registration information and race details. With the popularity of runDisney events continuing to grow, I wouldn't want you to miss out on the opportunity to get registered before it sells out. I hope this information has been helpful, Trent!
