Hi Faith, I am a fan. You are so inspiring. I am planning for my daughter and I to run a 10K Disney race together. She will be 9 when I register but will be 10 on race day.. Will that be ok? She has 10K times and is ready to run Disney with her mama!

    Hi Melissa,

I'm so happy to know I've inspired you in some way! Thank you for making my day! I'm even happier to hear you and your princess are planning on running a runDisney 10K race together. I love hearing from guests that are making runDisney a family affair.

Though your daughter will only be nine at the time of registration, as long as she is 10 by race day, there should be no issues. When you fill out her registration form and enter in her birthdate, the system will recognize she will be 10, even though it will display her current age of nine. So when you see that, don't worry, you should be able to proceed with no problems.

I'm so excited for you two! I have a daughter about to turn 10 who has runDisney on several occasions, so if you have any additional questions on running together, please let me know. Of course, you can send me any questions you may have regarding your runDisney-cations.

    Have a magical day,

    Faith
