Is there a Facebook page to meet people prior to going on a Disney Cruise? For instance I'm going on Disney Dream cruise 12/22/11-12/26/11 & want to be able to meet or see who will be on board with us?

    Hi, Amanda!

There is a Disney Cruise Line Facebook Page where you can get more information about itineraries, ships and destinations. Plus, you can interact with other Disney guests via the comments. Yet, there really isn't a "meeting place" there to learn who will be on your ship for your itinerary.

There are online meet ups on the DisBoards.com where you can look up your specific cruise and "find" other guests who are sailing with you.  There also is a sub-culture tradition for Disney cruise guests on the DisBoards known as "Fish Extenders." This is where guests will bring something with pockets to hang from the metal fish outside each stateroom door. Other guests will bring aboard small gifts or candy to place in their online friends' Fish Extenders -- sort of like trick-or-treating in reverse. They also plan meet ups on board so that they can plan activities together or introduce their children in the youth spaces. All of these activities are fully explained on DisBoards.com and are a great way to get to know other guests.

I hope this helps. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!

    Bon voyage,

    Andi
