Hi Mary! Welcome back to planDisney! We’re so glad you dropped by with your question. Face painting is such a fun way to add extra magic to your day. With some brush strokes and a splash of color and pixie dust, you can transform into anything from a fierce tiger to a beautiful butterfly!
I’m happy to share that face painting is available in all four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks! In Magic Kingdom, the face painting location has recently found a new home in Adventureland. Look in the
Agrabah Bazaar area near where Aladdin and Jasmine are available to meet. At EPCOT, you’ll find face painting near
Village Traders in the African Outpost between the China and Germany pavilions. In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, take a stroll down Sunset Boulevard and look for the face painting kiosk. When you adventure over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, make your way back to Africa near the
Mombasa Marketplace. There is also a
face painting kiosk at Disney Springs located in the Marketplace between Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop and Marketplace Co-Op.
Bonus tips: Ask the face paint artists at each location for a book of available artwork. They usually offer more than what appears on the sign! Also be sure to hold on to your receipt. You can go back for touch-ups free of charge throughout the day. This is especially helpful if you get splashed on a ride like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure or Kali River Rapids! It’s also helpful when your little ones (or you!) maybe get a little too much of those amazing Mickey ice cream bars on your face!
Mary, I hope this helps you find the face painting locations and that you choose just the right artwork to express yourself! If you have any more questions,
come back and see me. I love helping add extra pixie dust to your Disney vacation planning!
Magically,
Casey
