Will the Fab 5 be at Chef Mickey on New Years Eve?

Hello Susan, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am glad to hear that you are making some awesome plans to celebrate the end of 2018. Chef Mickey’s is one of my all-time favorite Character dining experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort. It’s been a long-time family favorite for a number of reasons. The scrumptious selections on the buffet can satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. It is just a quick monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom, to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, which is perfect for a break for lunch or dinner.

This Character dining experience is one of my favorites because you can meet the “Fab 5” here. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy are scheduled to greet guests as they dine. Don’t forget to bring your camera and autograph book, because the characters will come to your table. No need to stand in line to meet them, they will rotate throughout the dining room during your meal. Keep in mind that character experiences are subject to change.

Currently, when it comes to New Year’s Eve, there has not been any announced special dining events for the evening. If you are interested in dining there, I would suggest making your reservations 180 days in advance. If there are any special events that are announced, you can always adjust your reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
