Welcome back to planDisney, Nancy! It's great to see you here again with another planning question.
Nancy, no matter if we are boarding a
Disney Cruise Line vessel or checking into a Disney Resort Hotel, my kids' first priority is always the pool or a waterslide! And... as the mother of a Mouseketeer who wears glasses, I appreciate this question.
Currently,
the policy reads that
"swim goggles that fit only over the eyes are permitted at all pools, hot tubs and waterslides, with the exception of AquaDunk aboard the Disney Magic, where goggles are not allowed." While this doesn't specifically denote eyeglasses, you can infer that glasses would not be permitted on the AquaDunk aboard the Disney Magic. Regarding the other ships and slide experiences, Crew Members may ask you to take off your glasses if they feel like you might lose them while enjoying the slide. You may want to consider bringing a secure waterproof strap to have the best chance of wearing your glasses on the
AquaDuck or the
AquaMouse.
Nancy, I hope this helps as you're planning ahead for your upcoming trip.
Wishing you fair winds and following seas,
Lauren
