Boo to you, Shawna, and thanks for bringing your question to
planDisney!
I’m so excited for the unveiling of your
incredible costumes at
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party during
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort! I recently attended Oogie Boogie Bash with my daughter, and we loved seeing all the creative costumes Guests came up with!
I checked the
Costume Guidelines for Oogie Boogie Bash on
Disneyland.com, and it states that costume masks of any kind may not be worn by Guests ages 14 and older, though headwear may be worn as long as it doesn’t cover the face. If baby Jack-Jack, Violet, or Dash plan on joining you, and are ages 13 and younger, then some costume masks may be worn, so long as their entire face isn’t covered, and their eyes are visible. So, according to these guidelines, unfortunately, it sounds like Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl won’t be able to wear their masks, though the younger members of the Parr family may be able to wear theirs, so long as their eyes are visible. If in doubt, I recommend bringing your children’s eye masks with you, and showing them to a Cast Member upon arrival.
From the immersive treat trails to the mysterious Villains Grove, there’s so much to experience during this special event! You won’t want to miss seeing Ernesto de la Cruz – he’s absolutely amazing to see in person! You may want to attempt to visit him during one of the parade viewings for a shorter wait. Also, if you can, I recommend waiting until the very end of the party to visit Villains Grove to experience the walk through Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at your own pace. My daughter and I headed over to Villains Grove after the second showing of the Frightfully Fun Parade for the perfect timing!
Wishing you a spook-tacular Oogie Boogie Bash, Shawna!
