    Hi. I have an extremely picky 16 year old. Last time we were at Topolino’s he had the waffles with orange syrup and was not a fan. Can we get plain syrup instead? We’ll still go to make his 1 year old sister happy (loves Minnie) but I want him to eat.

     Welcome back to planDisney, Michelle. I'm so glad to hear you're planning another visit to the Walt Disney World Resort this Spring. Magic will be blooming all around you!

     As the mom of a picky eater, I totally understand your concern. My oldest son and his picky habits make dining out more complicated than it ought to be! Luckily, we've found the restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort to be very accommodating. In our experience, we've had no trouble making swaps or special requests. When you place an order with your Server, just politely ask if the substitute you'd prefer is available. If it isn't, your Server will gladly suggest available alternatives. Swapping out the orange-maple syrup for plain maple syrup at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera should be no problem!

     Did you use the mobile food and beverage ordering feature on the My Disney Experience mobile app during your last visit? This handy tool saves my family lots of precious time in the theme parks. One of the things I love the most about it is that I can customize my picky eater's order right from the app! How convenient is that?
