You're asking about one of my favorite things at
Disney Resorts Collection hotels - Club Level! Guest Rooms with Club Level access are available at all
Disney Deluxe Resort hotels, as well as at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. The best part is that each Resort offers its very own unique Club Level experience to Guests!
The primary benefit or "extra" associated with booking a Club Level Guest Room is access to the Club Level Lounge at your Resort, which vary widely from Resort to Resort. For example, some are beautifully private but open-air spaces on a high floor overlooking the Resort's Lobby, while others are a dedicated space tucked away in a magical corner of a Resort building. The important thing to know is that complimentary food and beverages are provided throughout the day. This includes alcohol, and the food has been exceptional during my visits. There are always some snacks available, but at most lounges, breakfast, dinner, and dessert are the main events. I love that there are often smaller portions of high-end entrees (e.g., bourbon-glazed salmon, beef short ribs), and grabbing a few can be a good substitute for a light dinner. It's also nice to be able to grab a snack or a cold beverage on your way out the door to spend time in the Theme Parks!
You'll also have access to a Club Level Concierge who can assist with various aspects of your trip. They are human, of course, but sometimes they're able to sprinkle some extra pixie dust on your day. For example, I've had the Concierge assist me in finding dining reservations, planning good transportation options, and more. The one thing to remember is to just ask - they are a resource for you, and are among the most knowledgable Cast Members at Walt Disney World. When I've posed a question that my Concierge didn't know, I've gotten a phone call a bit later with the answer - magic!
Long story short, Mary, there's a lot to love about Club Level, but you'll want to weigh those benefits against how you usually prefer to vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. If you're at the Theme Parks from sunrise to sunset, you might not be able to take advantage of the lounge and thus might be better off splurging on something else, perhaps from the
Enchanting Extras Collection!
