    Is an extra ticket required for any holiday events at Disneyland (California) like at WDW? Or is it included in a regular park ticket.

    Hi, Madeline! Welcome to planDisney.

    An additional ticket is required to attend any after-hours special event at the Disneyland Resort, just like at Walt Disney World Resort. Unfortunately, there are no separately ticketed events planned for the Holiday season this year. This can always change in the future. To stay up-to-date on the latest news, keep an eye on the Disneyland Instagram account and Disney Parks Blog.

    Still, there is plenty of joy to experience at the resort! From festive entertainment, specialty food and drinks, and themed attractions. To learn more about what you can expect, check out the "2024 Holidays at Disneyland Resort" article.

    Below are a few of my must-dos during the Holiday season:

    Speaking of which, you will need to use the virtual queue service through the Disneyland App to enter the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction. It is only available via virtual queue this year.
