Are the extra magic park hours only for resort guests? We are planning a week trip in March for my son's high school band competition and want to make the most of our trip. We are not staying at one of the resort hotels owned by Disney.

    Hi Tonya,

Yes, Extra Magic Hours are for only Disney resort guests.  Because of this, I would try to visit parks on days they don't open early for resort guests.  For example,  if the Magic Kingdom is having Extra Magic Hours in the morning, I would visit Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or the Animal Kingdom instead to avoid entering a park that already has guests in it.  Here is a link to the schedule to help with planning.  Also, make sure to utilize fast-passes; they are for all guests visiting the parks and can help make the most of your trip tremendously.  I hope your son's band does well, too!
