    How do extra magic hours work?

    Hello, Karen and a most warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    One of the many, unique benefits of staying at select Disney Resort hotels is the opportunity to enjoy additional time at Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks above and beyond the normal operating Park Hours with Extra Magic Hours - Extended Theme Park Hours.

    Karen, each day, one of the 4 Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks will open either one hour early, or will remain open up to 2 hours after the posted Park Hour closing time. As well, Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks also offer Extra Magic Hours during certain times of the year.
