Are Extra Magic hours typically on the same days in the same parks each week? Or do they change from time to time? Just trying to plan and don't have that info in the calendar yet. Thanks!

    Hello Jordan!

As you know, Extra Magic Hours allow guests in select resorts to spend additional time in the parks either before they opens or after they close.  This is a fantastic opportunity to experience many of the Parks' most popular attractions with limited wait times.  To see when and where the Extra Magic Hours benefit is being hosted, visit the online parks calendar.  In my experience, there generally is a pattern to Extra Magic Hours, so if the dates for your specific visit aren't available yet, you may be able to get a sense of what parks will be open late or early during your trip.  However, please note that in my experience during peak times (including the Christmas holidays and busy summer months) the days occasionally get tweaked.

Another option I would like to introduce you to is Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom.  Here, for select nights a very limited number of guests can enjoy three hours exploring more than twenty-five popular attractions without the wait after the park closes.  This is a separate ticketed event, but, in my opinion, a great option if you have night owls in your crew and would like experience what it is like to park to yourselves!

Thank you for writing and have a wonderful trip!
