Are Extra Magic Hours open for Disneyland Hotel guests? If they aren't, will they reopen in 2022?

Welcome to planDisney, Katie! Thanks so much for asking this great question! I'm happy to see that you have a visit soon to The Happiest Place on Earth!

At this time, unfortunately, there are not any Extra Magic Hours for Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park and there's no news of this benefit returning in 2022. It's certainly possible though and the news, if any, would likely appear on Disney Parks Blog. If you are an early riser, I would recommend arriving early at the theme parks and rope drop to have more time in the parks. While there's no guarantee on any given day what crowds will be like, from my experience, arriving early typically provides the chance to ride more attractions due to lower wait times. As a Disneyland Hotel guest, the great news is that you are located so close to the magic to enter the parks early!

There are some other ways you can maximize your time at the theme parks. I suggest using Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering through the Disneyland Mobile app. This is a great way to save time and avoid waiting in line to order food. Disney Genie+ is another way to ride more attractions and can be purchased through the app. This service also includes unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads from the day!

Our family loves staying at the Disneyland Hotel and I hope you will too! If your schedule allows for it, the pool is not-to-be-missed and drinks at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar are the perfect way to end the day!

Please stop by planDisney again if we can help answer any additional questions!

    Happy Planning!
