Hey there, Gisela. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
Extra Magic Hours is a great benefit to Guests staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Each day, Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel have the opportunity to enter a select
Walt Disney World Theme Park either early in the morning before opening or later at night after closing. If you have
valid theme park admission and are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you are able to take advantage of this perk. Your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and tickets are linked to your
MagicBand so when you arrive at the gates all you have to do is touch Mickey to Mickey and you are good to go. I do want you to keep in mind what type of park ticket that you have. If you have a standard base ticket which allows you to visit one park per day and you want to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, you will need to stay in that theme park for the rest of your visit. Of course you can come and go as you please throughout the day, but you will only be able to return to that specific park that day. If you have a park hopper ticket where you are able to enter multiple parks in one day then you can absolutely enjoy Extra Magic Hours at one park and then hop over to another park later in the day.
I hope this helps, Gisela. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.
