How does extra magic hours impact the timing of the Magic Kingdom Welcome show? Is it held the same time everyday? Are there multiple showings?

Hello, Allison! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The new Magic Kingdom Welcome show is a short little way to start your magical morning!

When Magic Kingdom Park has Extra Magic Hours in the morning, the welcome show will begin 10 minutes before the park opens for the day, at 8:00am for the Extra Magic Hours (the show will be approximately 7:50am).  Just as with regular park-operation hour mornings, guests will be able to enter the park one hour before the Magic Kingdom officially opens, stopping through the shops on Main Street, U.S.A., opting for new breakfast options from Casey’s Corner (try the Cronuts!) or even getting a last second haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop.

While there is only one showing of the welcome show, “Let the Magic Begin” each day, you’ll be able to see it every morning when the park opens, whether it be for Disney Resort and Hotel guests first, or the general guest population. You can find great viewing spots on the center hub in front of Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage. Have a wonderful vacation, and please come back to ask me another question! ~Lindsey P.
