Are there extra magic hours for Disneyland when you stay on their property?

    Hi, Jerry!

It sounds like you are planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort. With 2 amazing theme parks, 3 resort hotels, and an amazing Downtown Disney area, you are in for a magical experience! Your biggest decision will be which resort to choose. My family loves the Disneyland Hotel. The rooms are spacious, and we enjoy walking back to the resort for a mid-day splash in the pool and the monorail themed waterslides!

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park have an Extra Magic Hour in the mornings each day for guests staying at Disneyland Resort Hotels. Disneyland Park has its magic hour on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, while California Adventure has its hour on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. To enjoy this extra hour of fun, each guest must have a valid park admission ticket and an active hotel room key card.

Enjoy your early mornings! When you run into Mickey Mouse, please tell him I said "HI!"

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
