Are extra Magic Hours at Disneyland only available to hotel guests with park tickets for three or more days?

    Welcome Denise!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Growing up in Illinois, I know how special it is to make the voyage west to visit the Disneyland Resort! I'm also so excited you are considering staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. We love these hotels, because they immerse us in Disney magic even when we are not in the theme parks. From exquisitely themed rooms to Character Dining Experiences and amazing pools, these Resort Hotels are a vacation all on their own!

As you mentioned, though, our favorite benefit of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel is having an Extra Magic Hour every day of our stay. This benefit is available independent of park ticket length as long as you present a valid theme park ticket with an active hotel room key card upon entering the parks. We have taken advantage of Extra Magic Hours during short stays of one to two days and also longer stays using a 4-day Park Hopper Ticket. For us, this hour is really a priceless benefit when it comes to making the most of our day at the parks. Crowd levels are low, temperatures are cooler, and we can ride popular attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! with very little wait time!

I can't wait for you to experience the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any further questions about your trip, feel free to stop by again. Have a magical day!
