    What are extra Magic hours?

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

First, thank you so much for stopping by and what a great question.  Only guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resorts can enjoy Extra Magic Hours.  EMH are offered at one theme park each day and may happen in the morning or in the evening hours. For example, a theme park may be scheduled to open to ALL guests at 9:00 AM, but if EMH are being offered, guests staying a select Disney Resorts are usually allowed to enter one hour prior to a park's opening. If EMH happen in the evening hours, only guests of WDW Resorts are allowed to remain, typically an hour or two, past a park's scheduled closing.  You will need to check a Times Guide for the which park will be offering EMH and the times.  Again, you must be a guest at select WDW Resorts to enjoy the extra time.  Please keep in mind that not all attractions may be up and running. However, Disney usually has the more popular attractions open.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  If you are not staying a Walt Disney World Resort, I recommend arriving early in order to make the most of your day.  Make it a point to cover the popular attractions first as crowd levels are low in the early morning hours.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
