Can we do the extra magic hour if my son is 2 years old?

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Michelle!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm so excited you are going to be staying on property at a Disneyland Resort Hotel to utilize the Extra Magic Hour benefit exclusively for hotel guests.

Everyone in your hotel room can enter for Extra Magic Hours each morning no matter their age. Just make sure your party enters together with their tickets and hotel room key. Your two year old will not need a ticket since Guests under three years old do not need tickets to enter. Depending on the day, Extra Magic Hour will take place at either Disneyland Park of Disney California Adventure Park one hour prior to official park opening. In Disneyland Park you can experience attractions in Fantasyland and Tomorowland during this hour. Over in Disney California Adventure Park you can experience many attractions in Hollywood Land, Grizzly Peak, Cars Land and Pixar Pier before the park opens to the public.

I always make sure we arrive at least 15 minutes prior to Extra Magic Hour so we can really maximize this hour. It's when we always ride our "must-do" attractions with the least amount of wait time. Even if you aren't normally an early bird, it is definitely worth getting up early for this exclusive benefit.

I hope this helps, and see ya real soon!
