HI! There is a 7-8am Extra Magic Hour at Animal Kingdom during our stay in June. Will they let people into the front of the park before 7 on that day? Also, what time do the buses start running with the extra early magic hour?? Thanks!

Hi, Heather! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I just love how Extra Magic Hours allow Disney Resort hotel Guests a bit of extra Pixie Dust either before or after regular Disney Theme Park Hours! What is even more exciting is that Pandora-The World of Avatar is scheduled to open before your arrival, so you will have some fantastic new Expeditions to experience at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park!

Complimentary Resort Transportation typically begins 45-60 minutes before scheduled Theme Park opening (Extra Magic Hours included), so for a 7 am Extra Magic Hour opening, I would expect buses to start picking up Guests by 6 am. As for when Guests will be let inside the Disney Theme Park, I have found that typically they follow the posted schedule. That being said, I have experienced early entrance to certain Disney Theme Parks in the past. I would say expect to enter at 7 am, and if you happen to be there early and Cast Members start letting Guests in, then it is a bonus, but try not go with that expectation.

I hope this helps you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and that you stop by again sometime soon!
