Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Mark!
Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to
Disney World. I am sure you can practically hear the Main Street U.S.A. music and smell the popcorn already! Get ready for a whirlwind of MAGICAL moments, unforgettable adventures, and all the Mickey-shaped treats your heart desires. The countdown is officially on, and your happily-ever-after vacation is right around the corner!
Great question—and I’m so glad you asked! Disney World does offer
handicap-accessible parking, and it’s super convenient. These specially designated spots are available for any guest with a valid disability parking permit or license plate. The standard parking fee still applies, but the great news is that there is no additional fee for handicap parking.
When you arrive, just let the Cast Members know you have a disability permit, and they’ll direct you to the closest accessible parking area—usually super close to the park entrance! These spots are first-come, first-served, so arriving early is a great idea.
NOTE: I just want to make sure you know that if you are staying at a Disney Resort, you get complimentary standard parking at the theme parks, including the accessible lots!
Mickey and his pals truly go above and beyond when it comes to
accessibility services, making sure every guest can experience the MAGIC with ease and comfort. From
wheelchair rentals and accessible attractions to services for visual, hearing, and cognitive disabilities, they’ve thought of everything.
As you plan for your upcoming trip, I recommend you check out the
Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information regarding all things Disney. There are so many incredible surprises planned this year, we don't want you to miss any of the fun!
If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!
See Ya Real Soon!
